Privacy & SMS Terms

Last updated: July 14, 2026

KeepTheCall LLC ("KeepTheCall," "we," "us") provides a missed-call recovery service for small businesses. When a customer calls a business that uses KeepTheCall and the call goes unanswered, our software can help the business follow up. Texting is available only under the applicable sender's consent process. This page explains what information we handle and how, and the terms of direct KeepTheCall customer-care text messages.

Privacy Policy

Information we handle

How we use it

We use this information only to deliver the service: to send a consented text to a missed caller, to notify the business owner of the missed call and the caller's request, and to let the owner follow up. We use business owners' contact details to operate their account and support them.

How we share it

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share information only with service providers that help us run the service (such as our telephony provider, Twilio, which sends the text messages and places the calls), and only as needed for that purpose, or when required by law.

Mobile information and text-message opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Retention & security

We keep lead and message information for as long as the business owner's account is active, or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. A business owner can ask us to delete their account data.

Your choices

Callers can stop receiving texts at any time (see SMS Terms below). To ask what information we hold about you or to request deletion, email hello@keepthecall.com.

SMS / Messaging Terms

Why you received a text

If you received a customer-care text directly from KeepTheCall, it is because you called KeepTheCall for product or account support. The text is a direct, one-to-one reply about setup, billing, troubleshooting, your account, or another support question. KeepTheCall does not use this customer-care program for proactive sales or marketing messages.

An independent business that uses KeepTheCall may operate its own separately registered messaging program. In that case, the business is the sender and its own messaging terms and consent process apply.

How direct KeepTheCall consent works

Before the first SMS in the direct KeepTheCall customer-care program, the caller hears this disclosure:

KeepTheCall can send customer-care texts about this call. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. After opting in, reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Terms and Privacy Policy: keepthecall.com/privacy. Press 1 to agree and enroll. Press 2 to continue without texts.

Pressing 1 is the only affirmative consent to receive texts about that call. KeepTheCall confirms enrollment by voice and immediately sends a confirmation identifying the program, variable frequency, message/data rates, HELP instructions, and STOP instructions. Pressing 2, entering another key, remaining silent, or allowing the prompt to time out continues to the available call or voicemail path without an SMS. KeepTheCall retains the consent evidence described above. A later support call requires its own consent prompt before it can start a new text exchange.

See the public SMS consent flow evidence page for the complete step-by-step path and exact program messages.

Message frequency

Messages are conversational and occasional. Frequency depends on your exchange with KeepTheCall.

Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out and help

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
